Suma Butter Beans (400g)
Butter beans, which are commonly known as lima beans, make an excellent addition to a number of dishes including salads, stews, soups and casseroles. As with most beans, butter beans make a great nutritional addition to any diet, but particularly vegetarian and vegan diets as they are a great source of protein and other nutrients which can often be lacking in these diets.
Butter beans are also a good source of fibre, magnesium, copper, folate, phosphorus, protein, potassium, vitamin B12, iron, magnesium and vitamin B6. Suma’s butter beans have a unique buttery, yet starchy flavour with a soft floury texture. These beans are so easy to prepare, simply drain and rinse and enjoy!
